Give the Gift of Hope

The High Plains Mental Health Center Endowment is a non-profit charitable organization that is dedicated to advancing behavioral health care and bringing hope and healing to Northwest Kansas residents.

The Endowment has a medication fund that is used to assist low-income clients who need assistance in securing needed mental health medications. Often, these medications make a significant positive difference and reduce needless suffering.

Another initiative is a Staff Scholarship Fund that provides scholarship assistance for staff members wanting to advance their education and their careers. As the region continues to face a systemic shortage of behavioral health professionals, we have found “growing our own” workforce to be very beneficial in ensuring our ability to meet the current and future needs of Northwest Kansas.

Donors may allocate their donations to either project, or provide general funding support. Donations may be made online, or by mailing a check to HPMHC Endowment, 208 E. 7th Street, Hays, KS 67601. Mental health matters more than ever, and your contribution will make a positive difference.

Gifts given to the High Plains Mental Health Center Endowment will directly benefit High Plains Mental Health Center and behavioral healthcare in Northwest Kansas. Unless specifically noted, gifts will be directed to the area of greatest need. High Plains Mental Health Center Endowment is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
