LPN/LMHT, Mental Health Services

High Plains Mental Health Center, a Comprehensive Community Mental Health Center currently has a full time position opening for a LPN/LMHT, Mental Health Services in our Hays Main Office.  Qualified candidate works closely with the Center psychiatrists, ARNPs, and RNs in providing help to patients with prescription needs.  The position includes providing patients with teaching materials and assisting patients with community resources as needed. The position requires working cooperatively and effectively with other disciplines. Knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychiatric disorders would be helpful. Click here to apply!

Recovery Worker Full Time – Schwaller Center

The Recovery Worker provides Attendant Care, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Respite Care and Crisis Intervention services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness or children and/or adolescents who have severe emotional disturbances. RECOVERY WORKERS

High Plains Mental Health Center is looking for Recovery Workers at the Schwaller Crisis Center in Hays.  Recovery Workers are front line workers who help patients and their families deal with the everyday challenges of living with a mental health diagnosis.  Our goal is to help our clients reduce their symptoms and improve their independent functioning at home, school, work, and in the community, and Recovery Workers are a major part of that effort. High Plains Mental Health Center currently has a Full Time Recovery Worker position available at our Westside Alternative School location in Hays.  The Recovery Worker provides Attendant Care, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, and other rehabilitation services as assigned to adults with severe and persistent mental illness or children and/or adolescents who have severe emotional disturbances or other assigned patients requiring services of the Recovery Worker.  These services are intensive consumer-centered, goal-directed services provided on a face-to-face basis in community settings.  They also provide transportation services as assigned.
