Virtual Mental Health First Aid – Youth

Join High Plains Mental Health Center online for a virtual Youth Mental Health First Aid training. This evidence-based mental health training is ideal for individuals 18 and older who interact with teenagers, or who just want to learn how to better support their communities. The training counts for 6.5 hours of CEU/Professional Development credit. We will focus on signs and symptoms that a young person may be experiencing a developing mental health challenge, a worsening mental health challenge or a crisis. Participants will also learn effective strategies for support, referrals and de-escalation.
Cost is $50 per person, or FREE for Northwest Kansas educators serving our 20-county catchment area.
