Jamie Malone – Director of Nursing Services

Jamie Malone is High Plains’ Director of Nursing Services and has worked for High Plains since 1993.  Originally from Hays, Jamie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Fort Hays State University and her Masters in Nursing and a second Masters in Health Care Administration from the University of Kansas.

Jamie started as High Plains Mental Health Center’s Director of Quality and Risk Management before transitioning back into nursing.  She became a Nurse Practitioner in 2007 and oversees the nursing staff at High Plains.  She is a board certified Advance Practice Nurse in Psychiatry/Mental Health Nursing and is one of three Nurse Practitioners on staff.  She has been High Plains’ Director of Nursing Services since 2010.

Jamie “enjoys working at High Plains Mental Health Center.  I feel like I am helping our patients feel better and function better in their own lives. I enjoy the working relationships I have with colleagues. High Plains stays current with the latest in technology and clinical services.”
