Homeward Bound Respite Care

Our Homeward Bound program provides families with additional services when a child struggles with emotional or behavioral challenges, with the goal of keeping the family together. Additional Resource Homes are greatly needed in the Northwest Kansas region. Our volunteers will receive required training. To learn more about how you can help children in our communities, call Audrey at (785) 628-2871.

Mental Health First Aid

We are proud to offer Mental Health First Aid trainings to increase mental health awareness, reduce stigma and teach communities how they can help others. Our instructor team is certified to teach adult, youth and public safety classes.

7 Cups of Tea

High Plains Mental Health Center, in partnership with United Methodist Health Ministry Fund, is pleased to offer everyone in Northwest Kansas free, enhanced access to 7 Cups of Tea, an online emotional support tool.

I felt very comfortable being there. I enjoyed the people that I dealt with there. If I would need help, I would call the Center right away.
